Discover Our Passion for Australian Shepherds
Meet the Breeder
Welcome to Small Town Australian Shepherds, located in the heart of Silex, Missouri. I am Amber J., the dedicated program founder and breeder behind our exceptional Aussies.
Our mission is rooted in a deep devotion to the Australian Shepherd breed. We are committed to responsible, preservation-focused breeding practices that prioritize the health, temperament, and longevity of our dogs. There is nothing more rewarding than watching our puppies grow, develop their unique personalities, and take the first steps toward becoming cherished family members. We are honored to help you find your next loyal, loving, and lifelong companion.
Our Roots & Inspiration
Our journey began on our family farm when we brought home our very first Australian Shepherd to help manage our livestock. We immediately fell in love with their remarkable intelligence, work ethic, and unwavering loyalty. Experiencing firsthand what an incredible addition they are to both a home and a farm, we felt compelled to share this versatile breed with others. Our goal is to introduce families to the profound companionship and brilliance that define the Australian Shepherd.
The Small Town Difference
We believe that a puppy's first eight weeks lay the foundation for the rest of their life. To ensure a seamless transition into your home, our comprehensive puppy raising program includes:
-
Early Socialization: Puppies are raised around dynamic sights, sounds, and interactions to build confidence.
-
Foundational Training: We initiate a structured potty training routine before puppies leave our care to give you a head start.
-
Go-Home Puppy Essentials: Every puppy departs with a curated starter kit packed with the necessities required to begin their new journey smoothly.
Raised In Our Home
Our dogs are not just breeders—they are family. All of our breeding dogs live directly inside our home as beloved companions, receiving daily love, socialization, and the highest standard of care.
